Do you want to try working with clay but not sure where to start or just need a bit of support? Our 4 Week Introduction to Clay is a guided course that will help you explore this marvelous material and the different techniques we can use to create your own handmade pieces. Over the weeks, you’ll: • Build sculptural or functional forms by hand • Have a go on the Pottery Wheel • Learn decorating techniques like slip, underglaze, and glazing • Gain insight into the process and studio life Guided by an expert tutor, each session builds your confidence and clay knowledge while giving you space to explore your own ideas. No experience needed, refreshments included, aprons available, all materials and firing included (subject to reasonable production levels). Just bring yourselves and expect to get a little messy!
